What is MemeMachine?

Meme-ing for the future.

Do you consider yourself a connoisseur of memes? Do you engage in the daily activity of monitoring meme pages while sipping on Mountain Dew? Are you addicted to memes?

Then you're probably familiar with the following scenario:

Picture this. You wake up in the morning and try to find a good meme to start your day off with. But instead, you waste your time sifting through Reddit and Facebook, through junk memes and text posts until you finally find something you like.

What if you didn't have to do that? What if you just opened a website and it showed you memes that you were likely to like? And what if it allowed you to favorite those memes and save them so you could later share them with your tiny (or nonexistent, really) group of friends?

Enter MemeMachine. An app that learns what kinds of memes you like and provides you with memes that you are likely to enjoy.

On a more serious note, here are some of the MemeMachine's features:

• A web interface that allows you to see memes from multiple different subreddits.

• A Tinder-like swiping interface that lets you swipe right on memes you like. The more you swipe left or right, the more the app learns what subreddits or types of memes you prefer.

• The option to favorite a meme. A reference to the favorited meme is stored in a database so you can have access to it later.

• The option to add a custom image url to favorites.

• A Messenger extension that allows you to view your favorited memes and send them to friends.
